These refugee women are in a malnutrition treatment center in West Africa where children under the age of 5, as well as pregnant and lactating women, are screened for malnutrition. These centers provide treatment for both moderate and severe acute malnutrition among these groups, who are among the most vulnerable in conflict settings. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of the humanitarian teams on the ground, many children and women are saved from the devastating effects of malnutrition. My school, Divine International Academy is located in a rural community in Gboko , Benue state. Due to lack of money, the school could not provide teaching aids for the teachers. This made learning uninteresting for the pupils. One fateful day, a new mathematics teacher to my school named Ekoja Solomon assembled my mates and me together and encouraged us to gather some waste materials from the environment to construct some teaching aids. At first, it looked impossible for me but after series of encouragement from him, I gathered sticks, woods, empty plastic containers, bottle tops, wires, metal cans and motor radio. With these materials, my mates and I constructed a toy car, an abacus, a wind vane, a guitar, a scale balance, an electric circuit, an electric blender and a table fan under the supervision of my Mathematics teacher. These tools are now helping teachers in my school to teach effectively. The pupils too now find it easy to comprehend what they are being taught during lessons.

Women’s education is crucial for societal progress. It empowers women, enhances their economic opportunities, and promotes gender equality. Educated women contribute to the workforce, drive innovation, and make informed decisions about their lives, health, and families. Education equips them with skills to break free from traditional constraints and participate actively in society. Moreover, education fosters women’s participation in social and political spheres. Educated women are more likely to engage in civic activities, advocate for their rights, and participate in leadership roles. This, in turn, leads to more inclusive and equitable governance.

This video demonstrates drone footage of the Rohingya refugee camp in Ukhia, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, which is usually very known as Kutupalong refugee camp. It is very accurate to say that this Kutupalong refugee camp is the largest on earth by population, with over 931,000 inhabitants if the neighboring camps are taken into account. This video also tries to show how these refugees are living their lives in this very overcrowded, unhygienic, and unsafe area.
